Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 19, 2026.
If you need a locksmith, you should be able to read this site and reach us, whatever device you use and however you use it. This page says what we aim for, what is in place, where it may still fall short, and what to do if something gets in your way.
What we aim for
We build and check this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.
What is in place
- Photos have text alternatives that say what they show. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Every link, button, the menu and the request form can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
- The item that has keyboard focus shows a clear outline, so you can see where you are.
- Text and background colors were chosen for contrast that meets level AA.
- Each page has one main heading and the headings below it follow in order.
- Form fields have visible labels that screen readers announce.
- Every page is in English and in Spanish, and each page tells your browser which language it is in.
- Text can be enlarged in the browser, and the layout adjusts down to phone width.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the site turns off its animations.
- You do not have to use the site at all: call 925-414-0352, or email patriotlocksandkey@gmail.com.
What may still be imperfect
- Pages we link to but do not run, such as Google Maps, our Google profile, Google's privacy and opt-out pages and the state license lookup, follow their owners' accessibility practices, not ours.
- We check pages as we write them, but we may still have missed something, especially with a particular screen reader and browser combination.
How to report a barrier
Call 925-414-0352 or email patriotlocksandkey@gmail.com. It helps to tell us:
- which page, or what you were trying to do;
- what went wrong;
- if you are comfortable sharing it, the device, browser and any assistive technology you use.
What we do with your report
First we take care of what you came for, by phone or email, so the barrier does not hold you up. Then we fix the page, or tell you plainly if the problem is on a site we do not control. If you left a way to reach you, we let you know when it is fixed.
