Privacy Policy

Last updated October 19, 2026.

This page explains what we learn about you when you use patriotlockkey.com or get in touch with us, why we need it, and who else gets to see it. It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We are a small mobile locksmith company, so the list is short and we would rather keep it that way.

Who we are

Patriot Lock and Key Inc, doing business as Patriot Lock And Key, holds California Locksmith Company License LCO 8138, with an address of record in Concord, CA. There is no walk-in shop; the van comes to you. For anything about this policy, write to patriotlocksandkey@gmail.com or call 925-414-0352, seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM.

What we collect

  • The request form. Your name and phone number. If you choose to add them: your email, your city or address, the service you need, what you write about the problem, and one photo. Nothing else is asked for.
  • Calls and email. Your phone number or email address and what you tell us about the lock, the door, the car or the safe.
  • Details for a job. The service address. For car keys, the year, make and model, and the VIN when the key has to be matched to the vehicle. Before we open anything we look at ID and proof that you own the property or vehicle or live there, and we may write the details on the work order.
  • Payment. You pay on site when the job is done. This website never asks for a card number and does not store one.
  • How the site is used. Pages visited and general device and location information, collected by Google Analytics. See the Google Analytics section below.

Why we use it

  • To call you back and give you a ballpark price.
  • To send the technician to the right address with the right parts and tools.
  • To do the work, write an itemized receipt and keep the job record.
  • To come back and look at it if something we did is not right.
  • To see which pages people read and where the site falls short, so we can fix it.

We do not put you on a mailing list and we do not use your details for anything that has nothing to do with your request.

Who we share it with

Only the kinds of companies we need to run the site and answer you:

  • Our website host. Netlify serves this site and receives what you send through the request form, then passes it on to us.
  • Google. Google Analytics receives usage data, as described below. The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google sees your IP address with that request. If a page shows an embedded Google map, that map loads from Google too.
  • Phone and email providers. Calls travel through phone carriers, and email through our email provider, as they do for anyone.
  • When the law requires it. If we receive a valid legal demand, such as a subpoena, we answer it as the law requires.

Nobody buys your information from us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google LLC, to understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology stored by your browser to collect usage data, such as the pages you visit, how long you stay on them, the site that sent you here, and general information about your device, browser and approximate location, like the city. That information is sent to Google and processed by Google.

We look at it as summary reports. We do not send Google your name, your phone number or anything you type into the request form, and we do not use Analytics to find out who you are.

Google explains what it does with this data on its page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data from your browser on this site and every other, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site does not respond to it. Nothing about the site changes when your browser sends one, and Google Analytics runs the same either way. If you do not want to be counted, use the opt-out add-on above or block cookies.

Other companies on this site

Apart from Google, as described above, we do not allow any other company to collect information about what you do on this site over time or across other websites. There are no advertising trackers on this site.

How long we keep it

  • Form requests and emails: as long as we need them to answer you and finish the job, and for a reasonable time after, in case you call back about the same work.
  • Job records and receipts: as long as California law and tax rules require a business to keep them.
  • Google Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Analytics account, after which Google deletes it.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email patriotlocksandkey@gmail.com or call 925-414-0352 and tell us what you want: a copy of what we have about you, a correction, or deletion. To protect you, we confirm the request comes from you, usually by answering at the same phone number or email address we already have. We answer every request.

Some records we have to keep by law, such as job records and receipts. If that applies, we tell you what we kept and why. Google Analytics data is not linked to your name, so we cannot look it up for you; the opt-out add-on is the way to stop it.

Children under 13

This site is for adults who need a locksmith. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child under 13 sent us information through the form, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is material, such as a new kind of information collected or a new kind of company we share with, we also say so in a note at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means the new version applies from then on.

Effective date: October 19, 2026.
