Start with what happened
Lockouts in Danville and Alamo
Locked out of the house, the garage entry or the car. We try non-destructive entry first, and the technician tells you the price before any tool touches the lock.

Lost the only key or need a spare? The van cuts and programs keys right at the car, including smart keys and push-to-start fobs for most makes. Proof of ownership required.
See the serviceRekeys and Lock Changes for Valley Homes
Just bought in Danville or Alamo, or lost track of who has a copy? A rekey makes the old keys useless. A full lock change makes sense when the hardware is worn.

Working in Danville and Alamo
Danville calls come from all over the valley: the older blocks around Hartz Avenue downtown, the hills toward Blackhawk, and the streets out along Camino Tassajara. Just north is Alamo, which is unincorporated Contra Costa County, and we treat it as part of the same drive. The Iron Horse Trail ties the two together, and so does the work: front doors, garage entries and family cars. There is no shop to visit. The van comes to you.
Eugene O'Neill, the Nobel Prize winning playwright, lived at Tao House in Danville from 1937 to 1944 and wrote The Iceman Cometh and A Moon for the Misbegotten there. The National Park Service looks after it today. A writer who wanted to be left alone to work. Most people want the same from a lock: it does its job, and they never have to think about it.

Straight talk about price
On the phone you tell us what happened, and we give you a ballpark based on that. When the technician arrives, the first thing he does is look at the lock and make sure it matches what you described. A door that sounded simple can turn out to be a different story, and sometimes it is the other way around.
Then you hear the final number, before a single tool touches the lock. You decide, and only then we start. No surprises on the bill, and the receipt carries our license number, LCO 8138.
A name with a reason behind it
Soufiane Gmira named the company in honor of his great-grandfather, who fought in Vietnam. The respect for people who served never left him, and it is the reason every active duty service member and veteran gets a discount from us.
Military and veteran discount. Mention it when you call. That is all it takes.
Asked by neighbors
Do you come to Alamo, or only Danville?
Alamo is unincorporated, but that changes nothing for us. It is part of the same service area as Danville, and the van comes to Alamo homes, cars and businesses seven days a week, from 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM. We are based in Concord and there is no walk-in shop, so just give us the address and we head your way.
We just bought a house in Danville. Should we rekey or replace the locks?
If the locks work well and you like them, a rekey is usually enough: new pins inside, new keys, and the old keys stop working. If the hardware is worn, or you want a different style or a smart lock, a lock change makes more sense. The technician looks at the locks and gives you the price before starting.
Can you make a key for my car at home in Blackhawk?
Yes. The van carries a key cutting machine and programming tools, so the key is cut and programmed right at the car, in your driveway or garage. That covers smart keys and push-to-start fobs for most makes. Have proof of ownership ready, such as the registration or title along with your ID.
