Tiburon Car Keys, Made Right Where You Parked
In Tiburon the call we get most is about car keys: lost, broken, or the last spare finally gone. Patriot Lock And Key cuts and programs keys at your car, and takes care of house and shop locks on the peninsula as well.

Tiburon Car Keys and Smart Fobs
We cut and program keys at the car, including smart keys and push-to-start fobs for most makes. Bring proof of ownership, and call with the year, make and model.

Sold, bought or remodeled? A rekey makes the old keys useless while keeping your hardware. Worn locks get replaced, and you hear the price before anything is touched.

Working the Tiburon Peninsula
Downtown Tiburon is compact: Main Street, Ark Row and the ferry landing at the foot of Tiburon Boulevard, with homes climbing the hills behind. Plenty of people park, ride the ferry to San Francisco, and come back to find the key gone. We come to the car wherever it sits. Up the hill, the work is rekeys, worn deadbolts and smart locks on front doors and gates.
The railroad reached Point Tiburon in 1884, and the depot where trains met the ferries still stands. The Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society calls it the only surviving dual use terminal west of the Hudson River. A town that grew up around arrivals and departures still has people coming home late, and late is when keys go missing.

Straight talk about price
On the phone you tell us what happened, and we give you a ballpark based on that. When the technician arrives, the first thing he does is look at the lock and make sure it matches what you described. A door that sounded simple can turn out to be a different story, and sometimes it is the other way around.
Then you hear the final number, before a single tool touches the lock. You decide, and only then we start. No surprises on the bill, and the receipt carries our license number, LCO 8138.
A name with a reason behind it
Soufiane Gmira named the company in honor of his great-grandfather, who fought in Vietnam. The respect for people who served never left him, and it is the reason every active duty service member and veteran gets a discount from us.
Military and veteran discount. Mention it when you call. That is all it takes.
Asked by neighbors
I left my car at the Tiburon ferry landing and lost the key in the city. What now?
Call with the year, make and model and tell us where the car is parked. We come to the car with the key machine and programming tools, cut a new key and program it there, smart keys and push-to-start fobs included for most makes. You need proof of ownership, so have your registration and ID with you.
Can you rekey every door in the house to work with one key?
Usually, yes. When we rekey, we can set the locks in a house to the same key as long as they are compatible. If one is a different type or too worn, the technician tells you and prices a replacement before starting. Nothing happens until you say yes.
The door closer on my Main Street shop slams. Do you fix those?
Yes. Door closers are part of our commercial work, along with panic bars, keypads, card and fob readers, electric strikes, magnetic locks and master keys. Describe the problem on the phone for a ballpark. The technician checks the door on arrival and gives you the final price before any work.
